Jamie Cooks ChristmasJamie Oliver and Gennaro ContaldoJamie Oliver's always adding a little spice to the mix.

And his Christmas offering is no different.

He's serving up an hour-long special packed with the most mouth-watering treats you can imagine.

In Channel 4's Jamie Cooks Christmas, the quirky chef is joining forces in his Essex home with his mentor, Gennaro Contaldo.

And the festive decorations adorning Jamie's house aren't the only eye-openers of the show.

He's showing us how to make the most of your traditional turkey and other ingredients - with everything from post-Crimbo turkey sandwich recipes to a warm turkey salad fit for a Boxing Day feast.

Chatting about the show, Jamie told Radio Times: "We've got something for cooks of all levels, the basics of getting your turkey into the oven, a jerk ham, which is absolutely delicious, plus loads of clever things you can do with leftovers. It's everything you could need, really."

And what are his 'stress-busting' tips for Christmas day cooking success?

He said: "If you're cooking for loads of people, try doing two smaller turkeys instead of one big one. They'll be easier to cook and much juicier, too."
