Fighting in Georgia's breakaway republic of South Ossetia grabbed the headlines this summer.
But, as this week's Unreported World reveals, a tragedy was secretly unfolding elsewhere.

Nearby villages have suffered the same fate, with virtually none of their inhabitants anywhere to be found.
It's hearbreaking to see that the bitter ethnic conflict, which has cost thousands of inocent lives over the last decade, still continues.
