Big Brother 10 LogoBig Brother 10 LogoIs this the year we hold our breath to watch Big Brother sink or swim?

Less than two weeks in and viewers are dropping away in their thousands.

The first Friday night eviction show, when Sophia was booted out, saw less than two million viewers tune in.

So is all the hype and hoo-har amounting to nowt?

To date the show has been failing to get viewers buzzing as in days of old, and attempts to spice things up in the house with tasks and privileges seem to be failing miserably.

Add the fact that viewers are also disgruntled about not being able to watch the 24 hour live feed, and the winning formula of bygone series seems to be falling apart at the seams.

So all eyes are on Channel Four as this Friday, apparently, the boys, Cairon and ‘Halfwit’ Freddie, are set to go head to head.

While the show launch attracted around 4.8million things have been on the slide since.  The first eviction show – scheduled against The Apprentice final show on June 7th took 9.9% of the audience share while Sir Alan and his troops collared 36.1%.

Can Davina and the production team work some magic in time to save the show? Can we take another two and a half months? And frankly do we care any more?
