Jade GoodyWord on the street is that Big Brother bosses have shortlisted a girl called Jade for the new series which starts in June.

It is a fitting tribute to Jade Goody , the BB reality star who passed away in March this year.

The new Jade has impressed the producers, has been successful throughout the audition process and is now down to the final 25 people.

A show source told the Daily Star: "It's very fitting that as we say goodbye to Jade Goody, we say hello to a new Jade. Who knows? She could become just as famous."

A Big Brother spokesperson said: "We cannot confirm or deny candidates. Everything will be revealed on the night."

Big Brother 10 starts on June 4 when16 housemates will enter the house with a further four due to appear in later weeks.

The final candidates have been sworn to secrecy and will be flown separately to different hideaways around Europe.

Host Davina McCall is said to be excited about the new series.  She retracted her comments about the show only having two years left and claimed she was misquoted. She now says: "In my heart I am committed to Big Brother for the long term but the reality is they renew my contract every year."
