According to reports, the first contestants to be up for eviction this year are (drum roll please) Freddie and Sophia.

Well, there's a surprise.

Newspapers are today reporting that both housemates notched up six votes yesterday as the housemates were asked to nominate for the first time.

Freddie hasn't proved the most popular housemate after using up most of the group's food supplies in a single cooking session.

Sophia has also been a source of tension having kicked off over tasks and wine rations.

A show insider told the Daily Star: "It was a huge mistake to use up all the food like that. Those who didn't know who to choose were handed an easy target.

"And Sophia was always going to be up," the source added. "She's the only one who has caused a few problems so far."

The bookies have Sophia as 1/7 favourite for the boot. Sky Bet's Helen Jacob said: "Sophia has ruffled more than a few feathers since entering the house.

After being the only female contestant to be greeted with unanimous cheers on entering the house, we expect her to be booed on her way out on Friday as she is proving to be rather annoying!"

The nominations will be officially revealed by George Lamb on Big Brother's Little Brother at 6pm this evening. The first eviction of the year will be shown live on Channel 4 this Friday.
