Craig PhillipsBig Brother winner Craig PhillipsThe nine previous Big Brother winners are set to re-enter the current house.

The group will reunite to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the show's launch.

The Daily Star has reported that the nation's favourite (well, by phone votes anyway) Big Brother contestants are being drafted back into the house in a bid to save flagging ratings and reignite interest in the show.

"TV Chiefs want to make it a 'day to remember' for fans,"  a source said.

"This is the sort of thing Big Brother fans have been begging for and will certainly boost viewing figures."

This could mean that come July 14th we'll be captivated by the antics of Kate Lawler, Brian Dowling, Craig Phillips, Nadia Almada, Cameron Stout, Anthony Hutton, Pete Bennett, Brian Belo and last year's winner Rachel Rice.

While it's unclear how long they will be in the house for, it's reported that the notorious nine will join up with the current housemates for a special task.

A spokeswoman for the show stated: "The final plans about what's in store on July 14 will be revealed nearer the time."

And while we don't speak official spokesperson language, that sounds pretty promising to us.
