Mike Leahy used to be a mechanic, but he left the greasy world of nuts and bolts for bugs and beasts.
After retraining as a doctor in virology at Oxford University, he now combines his two loves, travelling and creepy crawlies.
In this action-packed four part series, Mike is on the look out for the deadliest of bugs.
He'll be trawling the globe trying to understand the science behind their secret weapons.
Mike will also be telling us what to do in dangerous situations and how to avoid them.
This programme isn't for the faint-hearted though. Watch Mike get up close and personal with nasty parasites and frisky fish who can weave their way into your naughty bits. Ouch.
In Brazil, he encounters a caterpillar whose prickly hairs deliver a horrible toxin, and over in India he meets some monkeys who are able to take a chunk out of him.
That's nothing compared to his jaunts in Vietnam, where he comes close to a snake whose venom is so deadly that victims only have a 10 per cent chance of survival. Yikes.
Watch if you dare, but with Mike's enthusiasm you can't help be engrossed. From the comfort of your sofa, of course.
