Well, well, well, it's been one heck of a ride watching Britain's Got Talent but we think that Diversity were the right act to win.
They showed creativity and their final piece was just amazing - nobody came close to touching them.
No offence to Susan Boyle, she did actually give a strong performance, but it wasn't enough to win over the 19 million people watching.
Let's not forget we've only actually heard her sing three times in total, but you wouldn't know that from the hype that has surrounded her over the past seven weeks.
Negative stories around her bad temper filled up the column inches last week, and the latest is that the pressure of the show has sent Susan into the Priory Clinic. We wish her a speedy recovery but like most pundits we believe that losing won't go against her and it will be more of a blessing in the long run.
So what does the future hold for the some of the finalists?
Diversity
Opinion was divided over the male dance groups Diversity and Flawless, but the Essex boys just had the edge. It wasn't just the cute kid factor either (although that helped), in the end they just had more creative ideas.
The bit in their routine where they became human buzzers was just a stroke of genius as a cheeky nod to the show itself. Not only that, they consistently improved in each round coming up with new inventive ideas. And it didn't do them any harm that their spokesman Ashley Banjo was a hottie!
So what happens now? Well it's back to the books for a few of them as they have to return to school and college. Perri Kiely, 13, Mitchell Craske, 13 and Jordan Banjo, 16 will be rocking their uniforms this week, as they try and resume a normal routine after an unbelievable half term.
But Simon Cowell, who will shape their careers has plans for them. He said: "They could open the London Olympics or support Michael Jackson."
"What you saw was one of the greatest performances ever seen on any talent show. That is why we called it a 10 on the night, it was immaculate."
According to the Mirror Michael Jackson is already looking to include them as part of his UK tour which starts at the 02 Arena next month. A source said: "Michael has already seen what the boys can do. Everybody knows Michael's performances are as much about the dancing as they are his music - and Diversity would only add to the magic."
Susan Boyle
It's been an incredible seven weeks for the Scots singer but it's not been without it's low points. Frankly who can blame Susan for getting angry with journalists? Anyone with the world's media watching them would be feeling the pressure.
Despite her reported stint in the Priory Clinic it seems that Susan's fate has been sealed as it's been reported that Simon Cowell is ready to sign her to his record label this week.
A source told the Mirror that Simon doesn't want to let "such a big talent go. She is universally loved and America can't wait to hear her sing."
"Talks have been ongoing but it's expected to be announced this week that Susan will record her debut album with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra on Simon's label."
And with her potential earning power mooted to be a cool £8million, she could be laughing all the way to the bank.
One thing is for sure it's not the last we've heard from Suse yet.
Julian Smith
So the humble sax guy came third, and we hope he gets signed up by a record company.
He's been waiting 40 long years for this moment and although we found his act a bit on the dry side, it did make a change from the singing and dancing that dominated the finals.
Shaheen Jarfargholi
Child warbler Shaheen might still have a future on the stage. The Welsh lad has had interest from Disney who have contacted Simon Cowell. According to the Sun he could be lined up for the lead in some kind of High-School Music type project.
We don't think he gave the strongest performance on Saturday but there's no denying the kid has a voice.
A source told the Sun: "Disney have been watching Shaheen. They are looking at potential movie roles that will make him an international superstar.
"It just shows the level of talent this year that one of the world's biggest film companies wants to sign him when he did not even make the top three. And Disney really know how to create superstars."
