This new five part drama explores how one crash can expose the fragility of our lives forever.
Chock full of stars (Corrie and Strictly's Craig Kelly, Primeval's Douglas Henshall, Withnail and I's Paul McGann), this brand new ITV1 drama follows the carnage of a multiple vehicle pile up on the A12, and an aftermath that spirals out of control for them all.
Detective Inspector John Tolin returns to work after time off grieving the tragic death of his wife. His first case is an investigation into the aforementioned crash that was caused by two police officers chasing a black driver in a BMW.
When the passenger is killed, her father begins alleging racism. Property tycoon Richard Reeves was also involved in the accident and a whole host of other characters whose fates are intrinsically tied into finding out exactly what happened and why.
As ten seemingly unrelated survivors crawl out of the wreckage, a twisty turny plot soon ensures and they're all forever bound up in a number of storylines ranging from torn relationships and smuggling to government cover-ups and murder.
Classy, ensemble modern drama.
