Jason Grimshaw and Tina McIntyreIt’s set to be a scorcher of a summer on Coronation Street.

A whole heap of couples will be turning up the heat on the cobbles.

First up is Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) and Tina McIntyre. Strong contenders for the best looking boy and girl in Weatherfield it was surely only a matter of time until these two were drawn to each other.

Tina, (played by Michelle Keegan, who was recently named sexiest female at the British Soap Awards), is so fed up with David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) squabbling with Gary Windass (Mikey North) over her that she decides to show them both her feelings by making a move on Jason. You go girl! Can’t say we blame you either.

Rosie WebsterGiving Jason and Tina a run for their hot couple money are Luke Strong (Craig Kelly) and Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan). Luke is set to start flirting with Rosie when she comes into money after her kidnap drama and suggests she invests her windfall in cash-strapped Underworld. But when Rosie, dressed in not a lot that cost a lot, makes it clear she’s happy to mix business with pleasure he jumps at the chance.

Hmm. Wonder how he’ll feel when he hears Rosie’s ideas for the factory.

John ThompsonJason isn’t the only Grimshaw getting some sweet, sweet lovin’ this summer. Mum Eileen (Sue Cleaver) is thrilled when General Custard, aka Jessie (John Thomson), walks back into Weatherfield. Here’s hoping Eileen’s Red Indian outfit doesn’t have him running for the hills this time.

Plus, there’s love insanity when Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine) chains herself to the railings of the prison, demanding that John Stape (Graeme Hawley) marries her. He says yes by the way. Gruesome.

And finally, Molly Dobbs (Vicky Binns) will step her flirting up a notch with greasy lover Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) when he confesses that he can’t stop thinking about her. We know where that’s going to end, but Molly, what are you thinking?

It’s all set to happen this month. Bring it on.
