Will there be any peace in the Webster house this Christmas?
Possibly not as Sophie, youngest daughter and cheeky apple of her dad’s eye, has some shock news – she’s pregnant.
In a Coronation Street jaw-clanger, the 14-year-old confesses all after dad Kevin discovers a used pregnancy test in the bin.
At first Kevin (Michael Le Vell) believes the kit was used by wife Sally (Sally Whittaker). When she denies it, his suspicions turn to teen-horror Rosie (Helen Flanagan).
But 18-year-old Rosie retaliates saying: “I know I get blamed for everything around here, but you have two daughters and this has nothing to do with me.”
Once you have eliminated the possible, all that’s left, however improbable, is Sophie.
Sophie (Brooke Vincent) breaks down in tears when she tells them the result is positive.
But is she really pregnant or is it just another cry for attention? Either way, leaving a test wrapper in the bin isn’t the smartest move.
If the Webster’s do welcome another addition to the family it’ll be the biggest under-age sex scandal to hit the Street since Louise Platt (Tina O’Brien) became soap land’s youngest mum aged 13.
