Actress Gemma Bissix has told us about her forthcoming return as evil Clare Devine in Hollyoaks .
One thing's for sure - she's definitely set for revenge.
Gemma appears at the end of May, in what is set to be an explosive storyline involving the death of character.
The actress revealed what is in store for fans. She said: "Clare's back, she's unhinged. She's a shade of her former self.
" She's off the rails. The first thing she says to Warren is 'Hello Warren. Have you missed me?'"
Gemma couldn't reveal too much about the role she played in the dramatic storyline, but she said it was a blast to shoot.
"We've filmed some brilliant scenes, we've had stunt co-ordinators in and special effects team in." Viewers won't be disappointed.
The actress last appeared in Hollyoaks in 2007 when Clare was left presumed dead.
Her comeback is being seen as juicing up the soap. Fellow actor Andrew Moss who plays Rhys Ashworth raved about her return: "I love evil Clare. She's a great Hollyoaks character and again it's more exciting for the show."
Talking about how she switches from playing Clare Bates in EastEnders and Clare in Hollyoaks she said: "I prefer this Clare (Hollyoaks) because she is just so much fun to play. I was saying to somebody if she was in the real world, she'd be in prison or be on death row.
With the EastEnders Clare she was more realistic. We all know somebody like that - a little tart trying to get a bit of money where she can."
