Ryan hooks up with JanineLook out Walford, there’s a new power couple on the Square.

Hotties Janine Butcher and Ryan Malloy finally get (back) together!

Ok, we know they’re bad but we can’t help but be excited.

Janine (Charlie Brooks) and Ryan (Neil McDermott) have had the hots for each other since he rocked up to E20 earlier this year. But after a one night liaison he turned his attentions to Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack), the cad.

However, he soon realised what he was missing and has been pursuing Janine ever since. She’s kept him at arm’s length, the artful minx, and has told him all about her plans to pull silver fox Archie Mitchell (Larry Lamb) which has made Ryan even more desperate to have her back.

She finally gives in to temptation next week and they share a steamy snog in the cellar of the Vic.

An EastEnders insider told The Daily Star: “Janine has got Ryan wrapped around her little finger. She’s spent weeks working on him and finally all her hard work pays off.

“Janine was pretty hurt after he cruelly dumped her following their one-night stand and has made sure she’s been calling the shots ever since.

“He’s completely smitten and she loves it. She’s definitely going to wear the trousers in this relationship. It’s been a while since she’s had a proper boyfriend and she’s determined to enjoy every minute of it.”

Proper boyfriend? Janine? Who would have thought it? But after a run of hideously mismatched Walford couples: Tanya (Jo Joyner) and Max Branning (Jake Wood); Jane (Laurie Brett) and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen) and Sam Mitchell (Daniella Westbrook) it’s great to see a believable East End pairing.

And what a pair.
