EastEnders' latest love triangle is set to step up a gear when, with sister Ronnie out of the picture, Roxy Mitchell makes a play for her fiancé Jack Branning.
Well, he is the father of her child.
Scenes to be aired next week will see the younger Mitchell sister admit her love for Jack (Scott Maslen) after a drunken night out.
"Roxy gets sick on Bradley and then collapses in the living room," explained actress Rita Simons.
"When Jack arrives, he helps her to bed and she tells him she loves him."
But Roxy's attempt to seduce the ex-copper doesn't stop there. The minx goes all Single White Female, donning Ronnie's classy clobber and planting a smacker on an unsuspecting Jack.
"She's lonely," Rita continued. "She still misses Sean and will latch onto anyone who'll give her some attention.
"She thinks that if Ronnie's not interested, he's fair game."
Unsurprisingly, Jack spurns Roxy's advances leaving her with no choice but to drop a big fat - and fictitious - bombshell. But will Jack believe that Ronnie has already met someone else?
