Lexi snatches Nicola's BabyLexi holds Jimmy and Nicola’s baby to ransom in Emmerdale next week, demanding to know if Carl will give her a child.

The dramatic scenes will unfold in a real time episode containing just five cast members.

Lexi King (Sally Oliver) snatches baby Angelica when she visits Nicola de Souza (Nicola Wheeler) in hospital and a nurse mistakes her for the newborn’s mum.

Desperate for a baby after her ectopic pregnancy in April, Lexi heads for the roof with Angelica. Terrified parents, Jimmy King (Nick Miles) and Nicola, accompanied by Lexi’s husband Carl (Tom Lister) race after her, only to find Lexi on the edge – mentally and physically.

Realising she has the undivided attention of her husband; Lexi demands to know if he will go through IVF treatment with her. Jimmy begs his younger brother to come clean with Lexi, so not only does Carl tell Lexi he doesn’t want children with her, he drops the bombshell that he’s never loved her.
