Is Sally set for a dramatic end?Emmerdale schemer Sally Spode might not make it to the New Year if actress Siân Reeves has her way.

Siân has revealed that she wants Sally to commit suicide at the end of her current storyline.

Sally, ex-girlfriend of village vicar Ashley Thomas (John Middleton), has spent the past weeks scheming to win him back from his wife Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy). Next week, we'll even see her go so far as to trap Laurel in a burning church.

"She's completely irrational about everything," the actress told Digital Spy. "People should be really scared of her after the fire - scared of what she's capable of.

"She knows no bounds. There's no limit - she's not living in the real world. I've tried to make her seem really sane and nice, though."

In the coming weeks, we'll see Sally continue to try to win Ashley back, but the actress refused to reveal how the storyline ends.

"I'm hoping that she'll drown herself! It has to be something as fabulous as that. Unrequited love and utter madness."

Siân continued: "She'll try to do something that'll make Ashley love or remember her forever. Something that Ashley will never be able to erase from his memory.

"Maybe hang herself in the church or something - now that'd be an indelible print!"
