Men Who Stare At Goats star George Clooney is set to make a return to the small screen.
But sadly, he'll be behind the camera as executive producer of new police drama Delta Blues.
From the creator of Cold Case comes this kooky cop show about an outstanding but unusual Memphis lawman who moonlights as an Elvis impersonator and lives with his mother.
The project, produced by George's company Smokehouse Pictures and Warner Horizon, is the actor's third attempt at a TV series. With previous producing partner Steven Soderbergh, he released two improv series, K Street and Unscripted. Both shows had 10-episode runs on HBO.
The project has been given the go-ahead by US network TNT, home of crime dramas including The Closer, Saving Grace and Dark Blue.
