From the creator of Nip/Tuck comes this oddball US musical comedy with a virtually unknown cast and jazz hands galore.
The series follows an optimistic teacher as he attempts to transform the school's lacklustre 'Glee club' (or choir to us Brits) into a world-class vocal ensemble.
We caught up with the cast to find out what all the fuss is about.
Matthew Morrison and Jayma Mays (who you'll recognise from Ugly Betty) are the over-enthusiastic teachers who believe a bit of singing will brighten anyone's day.
Meanwhile, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz appear as the pit-imperfect members of the club who inevitably have a whole heap of teenage issues to resolve.
It's been the most talked about show in the US this year, but with Glee Clubs not actually existing on this side of the pond, and the premise of the show being, frankly, weird, we're not sure how well Glee will go down when it comes to E4 in early 2010.
