Hollyoaks' Warren Fox is set for an explosive exit as his club, The Loft, is set alight - but will the bad boy get his comeuppance?
We caught up with actor Jamie Lomas to find out what's in store.
Why did you decide to leave the show?
I just felt that the character had run it's course. I've had a great time, I've had some great storylines and I wanted to go out with a bang. I wanted to be remembered and I think this storyline is definitely going to do that.
What can you tell us about your exit?
It's probably the most dramatic stuff that I've done. My character loses the plot and becomes a bit unhinged. He spirals out of control. My favourite storyline before was the car going off the cliff, but this tops it, it's really powerful.
Gemma Bissix, who plays Claire, comes back as well. It kind of ties up his past and he has a big to-do in the village with everybody. Louise's mum comes back...
Roxanne McKee, who plays Louise, has hinted that she might return...
No, Louise is dead! Trust me, I killed her! It wouldn't be the first time someone dead has come back but she's a goner.
Chris Fountain is set to leave at the same time as you, is Justin's exit part of your storyline?
It is, but I don't know what happens to his character. I said I didn't want to know because then I can't slip up and tell anyone! I don't want to spoil it.
Will Warren pay for his crimes?
He kind of gets his comeuppance. Calvin gets him really drunk and gets him on a wire tap confessing to Louise and Sean's murders, but he slithers out of it because the tape doesn't work. They have this massive fight, which is the best fight scene I've seen in a soap - it's amazing.
Talking of Calvin, we spoke to Ricky Whittle a couple of weeks ago and he called you a pain in the a**e - care to comment?
Did he? He's a bigger pain in the a**e! Sometimes I don't know who I'm talking to - him or his ego. Every time I see him I'm like "Ricky - put your top back on please!" He's always got his top off.
He is pretty though...
Yeah, he is quite pretty isn't he?
Will you miss the cast?
I'm going to miss them a lot, I've made some great friends here and it's a really sad time for me. But my mates will remain my mates and I'll keep in touch with them.
I did my final scenes with Nathalie Emmanuel (Sasha Valentine) the other week and I'm so horrible to her every time they said cut I was like "I'm so sorry..." That's been my final week really, back to the old Warren - a nasty piece of work. Which is great. You get to take your anger out on your fellow workmates - like Ricky Whittle!
James Corden has said some nasty things about Hollyoaks in the past, is that what it's like on the Hollyoaks set?
No. Is it heck. All my friends are here, and I'm not going to start slagging anyone off. Everybody's entitled to their own opinion, if that's what he thinks then fine. It's just trying to get a reaction and sell magazines and I'm a little bit above that. I don't care what he thinks.
What's next for you? Do you fancy joining Kym in Corrie?
I'd never say I wouldn't, Corrie is a great programme but I want to have a bit of a break. I've been sent a few film scripts and I'm up for a few things, so we'll see what happens.
There are rumours that you're planning to go Stateside...
I've got my son and Kym here so I wouldn't dream of leaving them, but I'm definitely going over next pilot season to see what's available.
Can you do the accent?
Yeah, I've been doing lessons. You find yourself watching something on TV and (puts on dodgy American accent) you kinda copy it, you know?
What kind of roles would you like to do?
I'm just looking for a good script. I like all the action stuff. Something like The Bourne Identity would be great, but I've got to get to the gym and get myself pumped up. I'll get some tips from Ricky (laughs), I'll see how it's done from the master!
What about playing a nice guy for a change?
I don't know - my face is full of scars so I'm not sure I could play that, I might look a bit rough.
We're sure you'd do fine Jamie...
Aww, thank you. I'd love to do something like that, that'd be great.
