Reports that Loui Batley has decided to quit the soap after four years in the role of Sarah Barnes are untrue.

Digital Spy have today reported that the actress was overheard confirming her departure from the Channel 4 series at last night's Avenue Q afterparty.

According to the website, the actress remained tight-lipped regarding the details of her exit plot and insisted her storyline would be "explosive" and would "shock viewers".

But our sources say different.

"That's definitely not come from us," a show insider told us. "It's coming up to contract time, so you always get this sort of speculation. It will be a few weeks before we know if anyone's going.

"We can't confirm anything."
