I'm A Celebrity Logo 2008I'm A Celebrity 2008We hate to admit it, but we're starting to like David Van Day.

Yes, he's annoying and childish, but compared to half the whiners camped out with him, he's a dream; Carly's now got a problem with having too much money...

Give us strength.

Material GirlCarly ZuckerCarly Zucker
We sympathise with Carly Zucker. It must be really hard being young, gorgeous and having a premier league footballer as your fiancé. Gee, what a tough life she must lead.

Yet, she's been moaning to Brian: "Money can be a burden, that's why I got stressed last year.  I had too much too soon.  I had a massive house that I couldn't control or clean, it took all day."

Thing is Carls, why didn't you just hire a cleaner?

But she did add that she was willing to slum it: "Of course if all my friends are staying in three star hotels, I'll stay there and you do notice a difference."

Luckily she knows giving all her money away wouldn't help the world cause, but she does try to do her bit for the planet. "I'm big on recycling."

David Van DayDavid Van DayNo More Mr Nice Guy
Don't get us wrong, David is no angel and definitely shows his manipulative side.  He's got Timmy acting like putty in his hand.

When choosing who escorts him to his Bushtucker Trial he ordered Timmy: "I would like you to walk with me on a condition that when you face your trial I join you on yours." Goodness me, grow up Dave.

He's all bravado when faced with his task: "Last time I was scared.  Now I'm ferocious - the worm has turned, no more Mr Nice Guy."  Whooah there.

He even manages a few sly digs at Nicola over her disappointing task result: "I'm gonna do this for the team, not Nicola."

In the challenge Hell-O phone he has to answer questions from former I'm A Celebrity contestants and he gains a star from every one he gets right. Meanwhile a load of jungle friends are joining him from all directions.

When he meses up a simple maths question he jokes: "What are you doing to me, I'll never work again." No Dave, with those comedy screams we reckon a career in panto beckons.

Managing to collect nine stars which equals nine meals, he gloats: " [We'll] make a good meal out of it after three stars. God we'll be full up...I shall be c*** of the camp."

Ant & DecAnt & DecAnt and Dec's Perfect Camp Mate
The boys took time out from their rain-soaked schedule and told ITV.com their thoughts on the show so far.

They're loving David Van Day and Ant admitted: "I'm a big fan. He's a bit mad, you don't know what you're gonna get. You can go from having a joke and a laugh to being deadly serious the next minute."

Ant is also a big George fan: "I love him, but he's gone a bit quiet for my liking. He obviously doesn't like confrontation and isn't involving himself in any of that. I'd love to see George do a trial."

But  who would be their ideal camping partners?

Ant says: "Myleene Klass' body, the attitude of Janice Dickinson, the warm friendliness of Biggins.... While Dec added: "The sense of humour of Phil Tufnell" and Ant finished off by saying:"The tall stories of David Gest and the delivery of George Takei."
