Coronation Street's Katherine Kelly and Simon Gregson scooped Best Soap Actor and Best Soap Actress at the TV Quick and TV Choice awards.
We chatted to them on the red carpet.
Simon revealed why he thinks this marriage will last and why we won't be hearing the pitter patter of tiny feet for Becky and Steve anytime soon, other than from a gerbil.
Katherine told us what the ideal outcome of the Becky and Liz feud is for her - it involves spray tans and fags. Of course.
Both remained tight-lipped about what's in store for Coronation Street's 50th anniversary celebrations although Simon dropped a hint about a right royal visitor in the Rovers Return. Hmm... we'll believe that one when we see it.
Well deserved awards though. And oh, what a lovely pair.
