Is Jack Bauer about to get all loved up?
Executive producer Howard Gordon has revealed there could be romance on the cards - but who with?
Howard told TVguide.com that he was was really happy with actress Annie Wersching who plays feisty FBI agent Renee Walker. He told reporters: "She's done a spectacular job,"
"The plan for next season is a Renee-Jack relationship that's "not a romance in the traditional sense of the word."
"They have established the emotional framework for a relationship that I think we're going to see manifested in the eighth season,"
"It's definitely part of our plan."
Ooh, we're rubbing our hands with glee. But the course of true love never did run smooth and it's not going to be all plain sailing. Howard said: "It's a lot more broken and jagged than what you might imagine."
Since Jack lost his wife in series one, he's had liaisons with Audrey Raines and Diane Huxley, but will Renee last the distance?
