An estimated 1 billion people worldwide are expected to tune in to see the singer's tribute, who died suddenly less than two weeks ago.


The funeral which takes place at 4pm will be a private affair with no cameras allowed, but you can watch the two-hour service live from the Staples Centre in LA on four channels, Sky News , Sky Arts, Sky Arts HD and BBC News 24.

Michael Jackson: The Farewell will be hosted by Sky News presenter Kay Burley along with Sky News US correspondents Robert Nisbet and Greg Milam.  The coverage will begin at 5.30pm right through to 8pm.

The show is expected to feature guest appearances from Michael's family and friends along with special messages.

Shaheen JarfargholiShaheen JarfargholiA star-studded line up will gather to pay their final respects to the king of pop and a number of artists are expected to perform at the tribute service, including Mariah Carey, Usher and Britain's Got Talent finalist, Shaheen Jafargholi who sang Jackson's Who's Loving You in his audition of the hit talent show.

A source told the Sun: " The family thought he'd be a great person to get involved.

"They wanted it to be about artists loved by Jackson, past and present. He will add some youth to the line-up nad is a great example of how Jackson's legacy lives on."
