Joe CalzagheFirst there was talk about Sharon Osbourne signing up to Strictly Come Dancing and now it looks like she'll be joined by another heavy hitter.

Rumour has it that retired boxer Joe Calzaghe is going to be hot-footing it on the dance floor.

The 37 year old undefeated world super middle weight champ is looking to join the show this year.  A show source told the Daily Star: “Producers think he has amazing sex appeal. He’s in great shape and very competitive. He’ll want to win, even when it comes to the waltz, samba and cha-cha-cha.”

Joe will be joining a long list of sports stars who swapped tracksuit bottoms for sequins,  including fellow hurdler and fellow Welshman Colin Jackson, rugby players Austin Healey and Matt Dawson and  cricketers Darren Gough and Mark Ramprakash who won the show in 2006.
