Louisa LyttonLouisa LyttonThe Bill star and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Louisa Lytton is set to represent the UK.

She's teaming up with her Strictly partner Vincent Simone to take part in the Eurovision Dance Contest.

The former EastEnder reached the final stages of the BBC dance contest in 2006, despite being the show's youngest ever contestant. Unfortunately the pair didn't make it to the final, which cricketer Mark Ramprakash went on to win.

Louisa and Vincent are heading back to the ballroom in the hope of beating couples from across Europe.

Hosted by Graham Norton and Claudia Winkleman, this year's Eurovision Dance Contest takes place in Glasgow and will be screened on BBC1.

Strictly judges Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood will comment on performances, but the winner will be decided by public vote and a separate panel of judges.

Brendan Cole and Camilla Dallerup took part in last year's contest but flopped, finishing second from last.
