Black Mamba, White WitchBlack Mamba, White WitchBlack Mambas, the elegant but lethal little snakes, are understandably feared in their native Swaziland.

Except by one woman – Thea Litschka-Koen.

Thea's on a one woman mission to rescue her neighbours from the little critters, and then rescue the snakes from an untimely demise by releasing them into the wild.

Rather her than us.

By day Thea runs a small hotel, looks after her family and runs a 24 hour snake call out service. She’ll drop everything to run to the aid of any local who ask for her help in ridding their home from a slithery guest.

Her fearless way with the snakes she thinks are ‘sweet’ has earned her the title White Witch but while Thea's neighbours are grateful for her help getting the beasties out of their houses they have a big question for Thea: will they come back?

Thea doesn’t know so she’s set up a tracking system to see what happens to the black mambas when they glide out of her life. She hopes this will give a valuable insight into the snakes she’s passionate about.

Brave lady. Wonder is she does daddy long legs' too; that’s the worst thing we’re likely to find in the TV Towers bathroom.

We hope.
