Wine buff Oz Clarke and Top Gear presenter James May are back for a third irreverent, entertaining, and surprisingly informative adventure.
This time their mission is to find the drink – or drinks – that speak for modern Britain.
It's alright for some.
Over eight episodes the odd couple will travel the length and breadth of Britain, trying out all manner of booze - from Oz's usual tipple wine, to beer, cider, whiskey, gin and even alcopops.
Oz has grandiose plans for the epic journey that lies ahead, deciding that there's no better place to start their journey than on top of the magnificent and iconic White Cliffs of Dover.
But James isn't interested - he just wants a simple pint and he knows just the place to get it: the spiritual home of great British beer – Yorkshire.
Also in charge of procuring wheels for the duo's trip, James has splashed out, choosing to cruise the country in an impressive classic motor. But as he's blown the budget, their sleeping accommodation is a little less comfortable, particularly when James decides to forego his bed to allow space to install a high-tech micro brewery.
Oz and James don't form the most comfortable TV partnership - but that's half the fun. Sadly for the shaggy-haired one, it turns out that Oz can wax as lyrically about beer as he can about wine. It's no wonder the phrase: "Shall we have a pint?" is often heard...
