The veteran talk show host reckons it's no surprise the Britain's Got Talent star is finding fame difficult to cope with.


Speculation over Susan's mental state has been rife after the singer, 48, was admitted to celeb rehab clinic The Priory earlier this week.

"Susan Boyle's reaction to not winning Britain's Got Talent was predictable," said Parky in his blog My Week In Words.

"To go from a quiet life as a church volunteer in a small town in Scotland to international fame would be tough for anyone to cope with," he continued.

"To expect someone with her obvious personal problems to take it all in is ridiculous."

We can't say we disagree.

Despite recent press, the Britain's Got Talent camp are determined that Susan just needs a break. In an interview with Larry King, Amanda Holden recently quipped: "The only thing I am worried about with Susan is she seems to have a crush on Piers."
