Robert Carlyle is set to star in the new series of Stargate - how exciting!
We chatted exclusively to the mega-star about Kiefer Sutherland, what viewers should make of his character Dr Rush and why Stargate is harder than Shakespeare.
Robert Carlyle really is a lovely man. Despite the shocking pink backdrop of the interview room he happily chatted to us for ages about what's coming up in our favourite sci-fi show.
Long term fans may be a little surprised by the new dark direction the show is taking, apparently. The humans have no idea where they are, and they're getting nastier as a result.
Robbie promises that viewers won't know what to make of Dr Rush - he has a very difficult streak, one that could even cross the line into evil. K-blimey.
Robbie also spilled the beans on his pal Kiefer Sutherland and what the Hollywood stalwart really thought when he was first offered 24.
Take a sneak peek at what's in store on the first new Stargate show.
