Rose Tyler makes a spectacular return to Doctor Who in this week's episode - and we've got the pictures to prove it.

Donna's having a crisis and Rose is the only one who can help her. Luckily for us all, the Doctor's lost love returns just in time.

'Turn Left', the first of three consecutive episodes written by Russell T. Davies, places Donna in jeopardy as she unwittingly discovers what life would be without the Doctor.

It's not only Donna who's affected - all of creation is in jeopardy as 'the darkness' approaches. We're not quite sure what 'the darkness' is, but it sounds very scary.

Expect more former companions to return to the Whoniverse as the series approaches its finale. Martha, Captain Jack, Mickey 'the idiot' Smith, Sarah-Jane Smith (no relation), and what's left of the Torchwood team are all expected to make an appearance.
