We thought Louise Summers' Hollyoaks storyline was dead and buried - err, so to speak.
But actress Roxanne McKee has hinted that she could return to the show.
Roxy's Christmas exit storyline saw screen lover Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) seemingly suffocate Louise with a pillow in a hotel room on their wedding day, after she threatened him at gunpoint.
But Louise's body was never disposed of, and her whereabouts remains a mystery.
The actress told Digital Spy: "Louise might not be dead! That's the exciting twist in the future...
"On screen, you'll feel like she's dead but I might be back.
"I filmed an extra scene showing that I'm still alive. There are flashbacks which show me being killed, but then there's a flashback which viewers won't see for a while, that will be used if I choose to come back for the episode."
"I kind of want to come back and finish off Louise's storyline," Roxanne continued. "But at the moment, I might be doing something else. It would be really good, though – I'd be going back to kill a few people off."
Hmm, after actor Jamie Lomas announced his decision to quit Hollyoaks, could the return of Louise have anything to do with Warren's exit storyline?
The soap could also see a return from Gemma Bissix as the villainous Clare Cunningham, who also starred in EastEnders until 2008.
After being booted from Dancing On Ice back in January, the actress said: "There is a good chance. I can't say any more than that or give anything away. Watch this space is all I'll say!
"I've got things coming up. You definitely haven't seen the end of Gemma Bissix in soapland this year, but I can't tell you what, where or which one."
