Raunchy scenes are difficult when you’re hungry, reveals Billie Piper.
The pregnant star of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl says that the filming of the new series has had to fit around her stomach.
Piper, 25, who’s expecting her first child with husband, actor Laurence Fox, next month, still stripped off for the show.
But she revealed that the crew had to work hard not to show her expanding waist line: “The camera and lighting crew and directors had to work a lot harder. Towards the end it was really tricky, I was showing big time. Plus, I was eating like a horse!”
The new series, in which Piper plays call girl Belle, starts this month and features Toyah Wilcox as Belle’s mum.
Piper also said that she is intimidated by groups of children who believe that she is Rose from Doctor Who.
She told the Radio Times: “I don't know how David [Tennant] does it - everywhere he goes is slightly chaotic. Sweet as they are, kids en masse are kind of frightening.”
