Nancy and Kris get saucyWe could barely contain ourselves when we found out what is in store for the residents of Hollyoaks this summer.

New producer Lucy Allan has spoken about the developments of Chester's finest.

First up, Russ is going to get the shock of his life when he finds his girlfriend Nancy in bed with Kris.

Nancy overhears a conversation Russ has with Calvin whereby he says that dating Nancy feels like a consolation prize. Ouch.

So what does Nancy do? She runs straight into the arms of Kris who suggests they pick up where they left off.

But what's lined up for everybody else? Lucy is annoyingly cryptic, but leaves a few tantalizing clues about the future of our favourite families. She says that two characters will get hitched after spending time at a music festival but won't reveal who.

Darren is going to be giving his family more grief in the coming months; a favourite character will be up for murder after having an unexpected psychotic episode; cheeky teen Teresa is going to fall head over heels in love; and over in the Roy household, Ravi will have to make a life-threatening decision.

Not only that, a new lesbian character called Charlotte is going to be ruffling feathers when she rocks up as a barmaid at the student union.

Plus producers are currently writing another late night spin-off which will see some of the characters getting up to no good.

We can't wait to see how all these revelations pan out.
