Hitting your screens on Tuesday, November 13 at 9pm on Sky Arts 1/HD, Parkinson: Masterclass is an exclusive six-part series that will focus each week on the life and career of a celebrated figure from the arts. Filmed in front of a studio audience, Sir Michael will lead his subject through the definitive interview of their life and times, presenting a fascinating and intimate insight into careers that have set them apart from their contemporaries and propelled them to the very top of their field.
The audience will be made up of the general public but also students from a vast array of disciplines that have been specially selected to gain an insight into the subject. They will also be able to pose their own questions to the interviewee. Guests will include musician Jamie Cullum, renowned ballet dancer Carlos Acosta and Michael Morpugo, the award-winning author of War Horse. The episodes featuring Cullum and Acosta will also be broadcast on Sky 3D (channel 217).
