Simon Webbe is the latest name being banded about as a contestant for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!
The former Blue band member is rumoured to be in big bucks negotiation to appear on the show.
It's claimed he wants a cool £100,000 to get hot and sweaty in the Aussie jungle, but the big bods at ITV were keeping schtum about his appearance: "None of the contestants have been confirmed" said a spokesperson for the show, but a source told the Sun: "Simon is massively excited. He'll be a bit of eye candy for the ladies."
Hottie Simon will get the chance to flash the flesh down under, but girlfriend Layla might have something to say about him being surrounded by bikini clad babes. The singer whose band Girlband was booted off X Factor on Saturday, is said to be worried about the attention he will attract from the ladies.
Since Blue disbanded in 2005, Simon has launched a solo career and has had a number of hits, but although he's working on his third album he has been out of the public eye for quite a while.
If he does go into the jungle let's hope he fares better than band mate Antony Costa who crashed out of the show in sixth place in 2005.
Simon's not alone in being a speculative contestant for the show, earlier this week Esther Rantzen was rumoured to be heading down under, a fact disputed by her agent. Gaby Roslin is also said to be getting packed to head for Oz; only a few weeks before the confirmed line-up's revealed.
