Sir Trevor McDonald has a surprise in store for this year's National TV Awards.
According to reports, Sir Trev will swap the newsroom for the ballroom at the star-studded ceremony.
The legendary newscaster is set to make his dancing debut - and word is that more than one mystery guest will be joining him on stage.
But whether he'll be saucing up the ceremony with a sexy salsa, or flashing his foxtrot skills has yet to be confirmed.
An insider told the newspaper: "Sir Trevor often tries to do something bizarre for the awards so this will be his party piece."
Determined to impress, Sir Trevor has been practicing hard and has recruited formidable Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Philips to whip him into shape before the big night.
