Former Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo who played Adriana in the hit gangster show will be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives.
Drea won't be alone on Wisteria Lane she'll be bringing her fictional husband and 19 year old son.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Drea has been cast as a series regular and it seems like she's been brought in to replace Edie Britt (Nicolette Sheridan) who died at the end of season five.
Drea's character, will arrive from New York, sticking out like a sore thumb compared to the seemingly quiet suburban street.
But it's her son Dominic who will be causing ruffles amongst the younger members of the neighbourhood as the 'sexy 19-year-old' is going all out to chase skirt.
Husband Nick, who is a landscape designer, has a bit of a roving eye too and has been described as 'a handsome New York-Italian man in his 40s'.
We were big fans of Drea in Sopranos and can't wait to see what mischief she'll be up to in Desperate Housewives.
