Spice Girls The fab five search for mini-SpiceThe Spice Girls are set to search the land for fearless singers, dancers and wannabes in a new TV show.

They’re looking for new Spice Girls to play the parts of Posh, Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Baby in
Spice Girls The Musical.

Yes, this is as weird at it sounds.

Mel B has apparently been dropping hints about the original Spicers getting together but it seems that a TV show rather than a tour is on the cards.

In an I’d Do Anything-style talent search, the old Spice Girls will each hunt for a mini-me who’ll play them in a stage show telling the band’s story.

It’s said that Simon Fuller, the band’s former manager, is on board too. He owns the rights to the Idol brand, making it seem that Spice Idol is on the cards.

A source told The Sun: “This is an idea which appeals to all of the original band members.

"It’s a fantastic way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs.

"The concept could even be replicated in other countries. The sky is the limit with this none.”

Sounds great, but standing up in front of Mel B to audition? What a scary thought.
