First the Alesha Dixon hate campaign, then the Anton/Laila spat and now head judge Len Goodman has decided to take a pop at his fellow panelists.
Have the Strictly Come Dancing bunch not learned anything from the tiresome sniping of The X Factor judges?
Kiss And Make Up?
Last Saturday we saw Len and Craig Revel Horwood come over all aggressive whilst debating Ricky Groves' performance. But now the judges have decided to continue their spat in public, via the ever-willing media of course.
Len decided to mock his fellow panelists Craig and Bruno Tonionli for tarting themselves up each weekend. "Bruno and Craig have the most make up on," he told Heat magazine.
"They have eyeshadow, eyeliner and God only knows what. I really don't get it. They go to town, and when they get back to their dressing rooms, they slap on even more of their own!"
Despite their disagreements, the judges claim their jibes are in good fun. "It's all part of the TV show," insisted Len while Craig said he likes the bickering.
"It's natural for there to be banter," added Alesha. "It is impossible for the four of us to agree but that's what makes it so much fun."
Well, as long as they're enjoying themselves...
Jade's Jive Jitters
Sadly, the Stricly spats have spilled over on to the dance floor. Jade Johnson and Ian Waite have reportedly been rowing over their jive this week.
An insider told The Sun: "Jade is a really strong personality. She’s in it to win it and she won’t accept second best from herself – or Ian. They are getting very frustrated and Jade is used to picking things up much more quickly than this.
“There have been a lot of cross words and everything has got a bit emotional.”
The couple scored their highest marks last week following a near-flawless foxtrot.
The source added: "They are falling out, but they always make up. Everything looks effortless on the dance floor but in reality it’s a long and hard slog. Being a contestant on Strictly is not an easy ride whether you’re a celebrity or a professional."
The Great Poppy Debate
Following complaints that the Strictly stars were poppy-less on Saturday night, the BBC has overturned its health and safety policy discouraging the dancers from wearing the Remembrance Day symbol.
A BBC spokesman said this week: "If our celebrities and dancers wish to wear a poppy this Saturday, we will look at how we can make the poppies secure and practical to wear."
Rod And Penny To Perform
Former contestant Penny Lancaster is set to return to the Strictly stage this weekend to perform a cha cha cha with former pro partner Matthew Cutler. As an extra special treat, she'll be joined by hubby Rod Stewart who'll perform his hit Same Old Song.
A source told The Sun: "Penny is really excited. She's been practising like a demon."
There'll be a touch of olde worlde glamour this weekend as the how comes live from the glitzy Tower Ballroom in Blackpool. But who'll bid farewell?
