Alesha DixonDefiant and determined... Alesha DixonAfter a few weeks of fuss and furore, camp Strictly Come Dancing is still abuzz with gossip.

First and foremost, it's good to hear that Alesha Dixon isn't letting the criticism get to her - you go girl!

Alesha "Couldn't Take It Any More"
Following weeks of criticism from the press, fans, and her fellow judges, Alesha has revealed she wept after her first Strictly appearance.

"I didn't think it was going to be a smooth ride, but I was shocked at how big a deal it was made in to," admitted the singer in an interview with Heat magazine.

"It was the second week I was more nervous, because of all the media furore," added Alesha. "I cried! Somebody wrote something nasty and it set me off. Pathetic I know but I'd just had a week of 'can't take it no more' and it just set me off."

But 'Leesh is determined not to let her critics get her down. "What's been interesting is that random people come up to me in the street and say: 'you were great, I don't know what the fuss is all about'."

And being an impartial judge doesn't mean the new girl doesn't have her favourites when it comes to Strictly's celebrity contestants. "I love Ricky Whittle - he's fantastic," said Alesha.

"I really like Zoe Lucker, but I have to be careful not to be biased with her because I was a massive Tanya Turner fan. And I like little Natalie Cassidy because she's got balls."

Amy WinehouseAmy's Stricly scaredBrucie Gave Wino Nightmares
In the weirdest celebrity confession of the week, Amy Winehouse has confessed that Bruce Forsyth gave her nightmares as a child.

"'Amy Winehouse confessed to Bruce that she had seven years of nightmares about him after he played a villain in Bedknobs And Broomsticks," revealed the official BBC Strictly Twitter feed.

The Rehab singer met Strictly's host when she performed alongside her god-daughter Dionne Bromfield on the show last weekend.

Hmm... we wonder how Brucie took the news.

Craig Revel HorwoodCraig is over the race rowCraig Sticks His Oar In
Just as the race row was beginning to quieten down, Craig Revel Horwood has decided to stick his oar in and stir up more trouble.

The judge urged people to move on following Anton Du Beke's public apology, telling New! magazine: “I’ve known Anton for years and years and years and he’s not a racist. I’ve never heard him say anything like that before and it’s so unlike him.

“This is a case of something being taken out of context and snowballing into a massive thing.

“Anton has apologised and Laila accepted it, so I think we all just need to move on."

Maybe if people stopped bringing it up we'd be able to do just that Craig.

In this weekend's show (Sat 17 Oct, 7.15pm) the remaining celebs will be performing either a jive, or a Viennese waltz. But who will face the dreaded dance-off?
