Gordon Brown got in on the Strictly action this week, trying out a few steps with Lisa Snowdon.
The Prime Minister met Lisa when he opened the new London headquarters of the Global Radio Group.
Lisa is a presenter on Capital FM, one of the group’s stations, but don’t hold it against her.
We wonder if she can count on one more vote in this Saturday’s show…
Save A Last Dance For Sergeant
The John Sergeant story rumbles on. Although actually we’re pleased to report that he’s due to return to the show for a last waltz with partner Kristina Rhianoff in the finale.
Kristina said: "I'm looking forward to be dragged along the floor like a sack of potatoes. I'm more than happy, I love John."
Charming.
Since appearing on Strictly, John has been credited with inspiring a massive surge in sales of men’s dancing clobber. Tap dancing shoes, rumba pants and jump suit sales have risen by more than 100% on eBay.
Hooray! We love a man who can dance.

Tom's Odds
Planning a little flutter on the Strictly outcome?
Holby City heartthrob Tom Chambers is now odds-on favourite to win.
The only male celebrity left in the show, Tom will ballroom-battle for a place in the semi-finals against Lisa Snowdon and Rachel Stevens this weekend.
Sky Bet are backing Tom to win with odds of 8/11, while Rachel is at 6/4 and Lisa the underdog at 6/1.
Tom has also revealed that he practises his Strictly moves at home - specifically in the bedroom.
His wife Claire doesn’t mind. In fact, she’s asked Tom’s dancing partner Camilla for a copy of Boyzone’s smooch-tastic You Needed Me as she wants to copy the sexy rumba moves at home.
What a supportive wife.
Butch-up, Bruno!
We’re a little disturbed by this piece of news coming from Camp Strictly.
Bruno Tonioli is considering plastic surgery.
Apparently all the stress of his jet-set lifestyle is taking its toll on the Italian’s eyes and he wants to do something about it.
He told New! Magazine: “I’ve not had cosmetic surgery but I’d love to. In fact, I’m thinking about it.
I’d have my eyes done because of all the travelling and lack of sleep. It looks like I’m carrying luggage under my eyes.”
We reckon you should consider a good night’s sleep before going down the surgery route, Bruno.
