Doctor Who - The Waters Of MarsDoctor Who: The Waters Of MarsTV Towers was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the next Doctor Who special, The Waters Of Mars.

And we're pleased to report that the episode is nothing short of excellent, as the 10th Doctor battles to escape the prophesy of his death.

The Doctor (David Tennant) arrives on Mars and meets a colony of humans living on the red planet. But Captain Adelaide Brooke (Lindsay Duncan) doesn't take kindly to the Time Lord's uninvited appearance, until her crew discover a terrifying threat lurking.

Though we've promised to keep our lips sealed, we've got a few cheeky hints for you.

1. The Doctor dons a previously seen outfit - but it's not brown... or blue.

2. The Doctor references a very old friend.

3. Adelaide has previously encountered an old enemy of the Doctor's.

4. We hear the Doctor speak a new language - ancient north Martian.

5. There's a narrow escape - on the most ridiculous getaway vehicle ever.

6. The Doctor professes his love for another character.

7. Someone knocks... but only three times.

8. 21 November, 2059 is a pivotal date in the history of the universe.

9. The Time Lord gives himself a new nickname: "maintenance man of the universe".

10. For once, we see the Doctor stand by and do nothing. "Whatever has started here, I can't see it to the end," he says, "I can't."

Doctor Who: The Waters Of Mars will air on Sun 15 Nov at 7pm on BBC1.
