Claire Young"Noorul is useless, God knows how he got on the show" exclaimed former Apprentice candidate Claire Young.

We caught up with the confessed chatterbox to get her verdict on Sir Alan's new group of hopeless hopefuls.

What have you been up to since The Apprentice?
I started my new business Elegant Venues. We work with some of the country's most beautiful wedding venues. It's a great industry to be in. I'm also working on projects mentoring young people and two charities; Kids Company and Women's Aid.

Are you still in touch with any of the other candidates and Sir Alan?
Yes. I see Raef, Michael, Lee and Nicholas in London. I'm good friends with Jenny Celerier. I'm in touch with Sir Alan through email.

Looking back, do you feel Sir Alan should have given you the job?
Yes of course I wanted to win but things have worked out well for everyone. Lee is happy working for Sir Alan and I'm enjoying being in control of my own business and other projects.

What was your favourite moment from the series?
Winning the ice cream task - if we hadn't I would have been fired!

Any regrets?
None, it was all a great learning curve for me.

What do you think of this year's contestants?
Mixed. I'm hoping that some of the characters will start to evolve more as the weeks pass. There is some dead wood in there which needs to get fired and then we can let some of the real contenders shine through.

Who's your favourite?
Ben. Love or loathe him he is brilliant TV. Will he win The Apprentice? I doubt it but he's great to watch.

Who do you think will win?
Yasminia, Debra or Kate - the girls are much stronger than the boys this year. They'll eat them for breakfast!

Who should be fired next?
Noorul! He is useless and God knows how he got on the show. Please get rid of him ASAP. Completely out of his depth.
