David Furnish & Elton John MarryDavid Furnish and Elton John marryBBC3 is back with yet another probing, life-changing, revelatory documentary into a hard-hitting, undercover world.

Ah, who are we kidding?

This two-part series explores the last decade, and what the show's PR blurb likes to call "arguably the most influential time of historical change since the Renaissance".

The word 'arguably' is great for almost any kind of outlandish statement.

Still, gripes aside, this is an entertaining piece of fluff looking back at some truly fascinating events from the last ten years.

Men became 'metrosexual', texting and tweeting threatened to override basic social interaction, gay marriage was legalised (ish), the war on terror came crushingly into the public consciousness, a black president was elected, Simon Cowell became the most powerful man on the planet and chavs flourished.

Oh and don't forget the greatest breakthrough in modern design since sliced bread; those wheely things that kids walk and skate around on.

Commentary comes from a number of the 21st centuries' greatest luminaries, including intellectual Chloe Madeley, visionary Michelle De Swarte, and clip show aficionados Ken Livingstone, Will Self and Germaine Greer.
