When police searched Ed Gein’s farmhouse they discovered chairs, lampshades and countless other items fashioned from human skin.
Authorities also found a suit stitched out of the skins of his victims. It was suggested that on moonlit evenings Gein would wear a pair of skin leggings, a female torso, a mask and wander about his property. The crimes of Ed Gein were immortalised in Hollywood films such as Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Silence Of The Lambs.
