John and Edward GrimesJedward: big in ChinaWe knew The X Factor was popular, but even we didn't realise quite how far it's fame stretched.

This week the Chinese ambassador waded into the Jedward furore.

Imagine!

Following a story that the X Factor finalists' house was causing trouble for local residents, Madam Fu Ying, ambassador for the UK, has written to The Sun stating her love for the show and for the terrible twins.

Speaking of John and Edward she said: "I'm impressed by them for showing such determination and spirit."

Madam Fu YingMadam Fu YingHer official residence borders the X Factor house, which is surrounded by hordes of fans, some of whom have been flashing the finalists.

It was reported that embassy staff had complained but Madam Ying has revealed that actually she's a fan of the show.

To be fair, she has something nice to say about all the contestants, for example, calling Stacey "brave" and Olly a "great showman" but we guess that's why she's a diplomat.

Olly MursOlly's got the cheek factorOlly's Pants Idea

We can only presume Madam Ying hasn't seen Olly performing around the house. An ITV insider has revealed to us that the chirpy Essex boy likes nothing better than striding around dressed only in his grundies.

They even leaked us a pic of Olly in his underpants which we've put up for your pleasure.

Come on, we couldn't keep a treat like this to ourselves.

Stacey SolomonStacey: don't mess with herStacey Fights Dirty

We must admit to being a little bit shocked by this bit of X news.

Stacey claims she's broken Joe's rib.

Well, that's one way of getting ahead of the competition.

Apparently, she was trying to play a prank on Olly and running away from the scene of the crime when Joe slipped on a can of deodorant and broke his rib.

An X Factor spokesperson has denied the claim. Hmm... curiouser and curiouser.

And finally, there's nothing like losing with good grace. And Rachel is doing nothing like that.

The stroppy singer, booted off the show last week after failing to win the public's support, has blamed X Factor's production team for her early exit saying they failed to give her a 'back story'.

She said: "They knew Stacey was from Dagenham and Lucie was from her village in Wales, but no-one knew anything about me."

OoooOoooooh. One thing we do know Rach, no-one likes a sore loser.
