The rumour mill has been working overtime when it comes to Doctor Who.
The latest on the grapevine is that iconic Time Lord Tom Baker will return to the Tardis in 2010.
The Sun today reported that a show insider posted the news on a popular Doctor Who forum.
The Whovian claimed to have insider knowledge, stating that the actor has agreed to make an appearance in the next full series of the show.
At this stage it is not clear whether Tom will return as the Doctor, or if he will play another role. Both the BBC and Tom Baker's people have declined to comment on the rumours.
The same newspaper revealed yesterday that the Doctor is set for a World War II adventure alongside Winston Churchill.
Current Doctor David Tennant is set to battle old enemies The Cybermen in this year's Christmas special, and all four of next years' one-off episodes.
The series will return properly in 2010 with writer Steven Moffat taking over from Russell T Davies as executive producer, but the Beeb are keeping tight-lipped about whether David will be back too.
