Gavin and Stacey creators James Corden and Ruth Jones were ranked in the top 25 of this year’s Guardian Media 100 Poll.
James, 30 and Ruth, 41 were new entries and even beat Doctor Who's Russell T Davies who came in at no 31.
The writers, who also star in the BBC3 show, have had incredible success with their romantic comedy which has been well received by fans and critics alike.
The respected yearly guide to the most powerful people in the media had some more unexpected rankings this year.
Listed as a reality TV star and author, Katie Price aka Jordan made her first ever entry number at 83, and Britain's Got Talent co-host Piers Morgan scraped in as a new entry at the 100th position.
Simon Cowell rose six places to 14th spot, while Ant & Dec slipped a massive 34 places to 99.
