Victoria BeckhamWord on the street is that Victoria Beckham is going to rock up in our favourite teen drama.

She's set to film a cameo in Gossip Girl.

It's not the first time Posh, 35, has appeared on our screens in a hit show. She showed up in Ugly Betty two years ago, and we might even see her in the Sex And The City movie sequel.

Apparently it was actress Blake Lively (Serena Van Der Woodsen) who persuaded Victoria to be on the show.

Blake is a big fan of Vic's designer range and the went to see her new collection in New York last month.

The pair started chatting along with Eric Damen who is the series stylist. Posh admitted she was a big fan of the show which is often lauded for its fashion credentials.

Blake thought it might be a good idea to get Victoria on the show and spoke to the producers.

An insider told The Daily Mirror: "She isn't an actress and wanted her role to be very tongue-in-cheek.

"An idea for her to play Brit actor Ed Westwick's long-lost mother was quickly vetoed. Victoria joked that she'd rather play his ex-love interest!

And clever Posh won't miss the opportunity for a bit of self-promotion. "Of course, VB is likely to wear one of her own designs during her cameo," added the source.
